Any Body Tractor Pull?

Had a little fun this weekend with the old Johnny Popper. Only managed a 156ft pull but it isnt to bad for a 72 year old tractor with 50 year old tires I love the torque of these old two cylinders, can lug it down to an idle and she just keeps poppin. Any body else into this? I can only imagine how addicting pulling with the Dmax would be I'm hooked on this! I'm already looking into new tires, power blocks, high compression pistons, cam regrinds, and stroker cranks.

Yes. My dad has pulled his 1958 560 Farmall his whole life. Upgrading it all the time. We just managed to fit a 466 International motor with a 2.8 charger in it, puts out over 400hp in a 6000 pound tractor

You should come around here there is a group of very dedicated two poper JD guys. They get them thing to fricken scream dude.

I would love to get around somewhere where its more competitive and more organized the only close points pulls are in NE. Then I would have more reason to throw more money at it
