helped correct pinion angle and added a little rear lift. im trying to stay away from blocks, plus I only needed an inch.

thanks for that link, but if im going to spend that much a little more to make it mated will be worth it.

gotcha, i have a shackle flip on my 74, it needs some pinion angle help as well.

That's fair as far as price goes, some of that adapter stuff is ridiculous

Mine was 20 degrees off after the flip, by moving the hanger down I gained like 11 degrees, then I installed a 6 deg shim under the spring.

I really was avoiding cutting the mounts off the 14 bolt as they are pretty solid and a pain in the ass to cut off lol.

After a solid two days of research, calling numerous companies and discussing options. I believe the best option is going to be to convert my nv4500 to 4x4, buy the advance adapters adapter and bolt a chevy 205 to it.

I would love to find a dodge 205 and housing made for a 4500, which they had a few years. However it appears to be a needle in a haystack for one of those cases. Unless you have a dodge bone yard.

Forgot to attach a pic of how it sits in my driveway right now. Note the grass that still hasn’t been mowed.

Found a 205 Cummins t case local. Knew a guy that knew a guy that knew a guy that might have one and turned out he did. It’s from an auto but a simple input shaft change will get it fixed up and closer to the 4500

Been so long since I’ve looked at Cummins stuff that slipped my mind completely. Your motor is a VE pump so first gen swap so getrag.

I’ve considered highly selling the Cummins and trans, and putting the money with it that I’m going to spend on fixing the Cummins swap towards a dmax set up.

I think I could find a wrecked dmax for 3-4K.. hmmmm
