Never done this before but this is my build thread of my 07 LBZ... Got the truck out of Missouri and drove the truck back to Utah. It was an all stock grandpa truck before I got a hold of her. Truck had 68k miles when we bought the truck. Truck now has 82k miles in about 3 years of me owning it. First things first was tint as the truck was a fish bowl.

Next mods were some looks and performance upgrades. I got the trans out of CKNIGHTS old dually that they had as he bought my Chevy that he know owns and built. Also Mike Diesel basically did my twin kit for me that was a simple S475 over stock... Truck at this point has twins, trans, lift pump, and built front end. Also threw on some wheels and tires. Then a lock up box from BT Diesel works...

At this point I was pretty stoked on the truck. Only ran at the track once with the stock fuel and compounds. Did a slow 13 something. Also dyno'd at Edge products for their event and did 609hp on their loaded dyno. This was still in 2013.

Couple months later decided it was time for more fuel. Went to my friends at Industrial Injection and got a dual fuel set up and 30% nozzles. Got some new tuning and this was by far my favorite set up that I had ever had. It spooled so fast and was quick for a stock motor truck.

The truck lifted an injector and I was going to buy a use built motor off a friend. That didn't end up happening so we tore my motor out for fun I guess and slapped it back in. In the process I took off the twin kit and went with a fixed vane S475 EPR kit that I got off a buddy... I ended up running a 12.3 with this set up and the fuel that I had at the time. I then decided that I was burnt out of diesels and was going to move on to a different hobby so I sold the S475 to CKNIGHT and threw a VVT back in. That didn't last very long as I ordered a HSP S400 single kit and it arrived the day before a local event which I ended up winning somehow LOL... This is the same day that CKNIGHT popped a piston. He got his motor built and MIKE DIESEL was to follow suit and got his done. I blame those two for everything else that was to come. :D

With the S475 under stock compounds the truck did 770 hp on a dyno jet at Industrial. With the S472 HSP kit the truck was did just barely over 700 on Edge's loaded dyno. Then 750-751 consistently at Industrial. This is where the build really took off a couple months ago.

So this year in 2015 I decided it was time to build my motor. The goal was to have a 1000hp single turbo dmax. We originally planned to build it with a S483 bill wheel. We just couldn't make it work when it was hot here in Salt Lake. Swapped converters twice then ended up with the 1053-1 Suncoast converter. We tried probably five different S400's but could not break past the 800hp mark on fuel. We then hooked up the nitrous with two jets ( spool jet and WOT jet ) and sprayed it to 1000hp on the dyno.

Truck has CP forged pistons, girdle, billet mains, main studs, head studs, heads, Carillo rods etc...

Truck did have 200% over nozzles in it and then we backed it down to 120% over nozzles. Also have dual 120% CP3 pumps. And two FASS pumps to supply fuel.

More pics. One of the pics is the shop guys pushing my truck out and hiding it. The reason they are hiding it was I at the time was trying to surprise Mike and Caden... It worked for the most part LOL:rofl:

All together with the S483 single. Flex a lite fans. No A/C... I wanted the truck to be clean as I have a Mega Cab that is my daily driver.

Got fed up with the single life and decided it was time to take the dive... Went with S475/S510 ( 104mm billet wheel in the S510 ) compounds and a hood stack. No heater anymore either. Going to try the 475 to make sure it spools and go bigger from there. Also swapped in Industrial Injection cobra injectors. That are 45 LPM.

Mmm dat 104mm though.

I also contemplated the 104 but i still street drive mine fairly often so I went with the 98mm:D

I'd bet the 104 spool almost no different than my 98 though.
