SLipped 5th gear while rolling down the highway the other day with no trailer in tow. Need to get this going before dune season starts..

PPE stage 5 is all you will need! It will give you room to grow if you decide to you want more power down the road.

Find a known good builder to do it for you. There are a lot of DIY screwups out there lately.

I took the day off... left Tucson early in the morning (0300) got to Mike's at 0800... left there at 1630 after he and I test drove the truck... I was home by Mid-night with a built trans...

WELL worth the time and miles... :thumb:

I'm gonna be bringing my work truck to you soon Mike... I think I hurt it the other day, trans doesn't feel the same anymore, but it's got 260k on the stock internals so it's due.

Just FYI if your interested in the PPE stage 5, I am running it. I like it very much im running little over 600 at the wheels. I could not drive the truck at the time so I had a local builder do it for me. But Mike is def the way to go if you can get there.

I have a good builder here in Phoenix. His name is Chris Chores he owns S&K Allison off 14th Ave and Deer Valley. He builds all the Alli's for the school busses, postal carriers and other fleet oriented businesses. He built my PPE Stage 5 trans, my dad's and refreshed a suncoast trans for a friend of mine.
