Put the AD150 in my truck last night. Took roughly 2 hours with a friend and beer stops. We had the luxury of performing this at a large dealership after hours. All in all very well put together kit. Other than the huge hole in one of there lines everything went smooth.

I just cut the factory hard line now and splice it in. I have it down to about 30 or 45 mins. The kit is nice though...
I was wondering this will be installing in a couple weeks. Just wondering if I need to drop the tank to make life easier for getting to connections at sending unit or just cut some sections out of factory lines and tap into supply and return?
Thats what I do for pickup and feed. For the return I use the supplied fitting for the filler neck. To save yourself from getting drenched take off the feed line on the drivers side under hood and blow air into it to clear the line of fuel before cutting it...
Why not just use the fitting behind the fuel cooler? Just curious.. That's where I always hook in, seems easy enough. 13mm ratchet wrench and 1/2" fuel line disconnect.

Airdog quit supplying it in the kit. When they did still give it to you I used it but I think people were complaining about the clip coming out and the fuel line spewing fuel under the truck...

I haven't run into an AD150 kit without quick disconnects yet (since they came out). If you are too lazy to drop the tank and install the supplied draw straw the quick connect will connect right to the factory fitting at the tank for supply to the AD and the line going to the motor will connect to the factory hard line behind the fuel cooler, you would basically just delete the factory flex line. Dropping the tank or pulling the bed really isn't all that hard, then you can install it correctly. Installed one earlier this week, but I do order about 10 at a time and keep them in stock - maybe the next batch I get will be different?
I was referring to the quick connect that returned fuel thru the fuel cooler...
I just picked up a 2005 duramax from a dealer in TN, when I go to pass someone it will sputter and then will never go over 65mph. It has an airdog 150 under ther drivers door. I noticed the dealer has cut all the wiring for it under the hood so its not working and this may be my problem for the truck running bad. do any of you have a wiring diagram you could share with me so I can wire it back up?
You can get them at any triple T. They are rebranded puralotors I believe...
You're correct. Provided it's wired right and no shorts between power and motor. I've replaced several motors because of high amp draw. Probably why they unhooked it in the first place.
