Looking to get a set of airbags for my dad for his 17 Silverado 1500, he has a 30ft bumper pull trailer 8k lbs 2 axle.
Yeah I know a 1500 isn't the right choice but I can't convince an old man his 1500 isn't right for it.
He has an ez lift load leveling hitch rated for it but he needs air bags.
He is going to upgrade to a 2500 in the future is there anything that we can throw on the 1500 that can be pulled off and thrown on a 2500 later.

He wants a kit with a compressor. Let me know your thoughts.

I run these on my truck. Same for my last truck, except no on board air. No on board air proved to be a PAIN in the butt.

Also the installation instructions will recommend your plumb air to each bag separately, so on my last truck I did that, ended up going back and tying both bags in the same fill line.

I wouldn't tow heavy without them.
