Mine are actually stripped, so all chrome right now.

well, its kinda difficult, the red in the badge doesnt react well to paint, i took high temp lime green paint out of a rattle can, and sprayed it into a lid, and then took a small paint brush and painted them, the paint kinda wrinkles when you do it, but i did it twice and put a little bit of clear over them witha brush as well.

Thats exactly what I want to do with a badge. Same color. That looks awesome, I was planning on putting it on my tailgate where the Silverado used to be. Last year I found some OEM matching 4x4 decals with the x in lime green. As soon I get some of those I was planning on painting the badge to go with it.
