This is what happend the truck sat for a year had to use starter fluid to start it and we ran it up and down the road a little and it sputered and puffed white smoke and died then it would start back up and would die when put in gear now it Then we found out that there was like 5 gal of water in the tank so we drained the tank and purged the line and put a new filter and now wont start will crake off on starter fluid but is not gettin fuel thats when i found the code

Sometimes it is as simple as unpluging everything and retiring everything with the specific order of operations for plugging in the cables. I don't remember what it is though.
