5 speed P1 Planetary in 6 speed?

Not going to lie, did some real half ass searching. Feel free to roast the fuck out of me if it was blatantly obvious

Got a 12 lml that ate the p2 planet and hub in the trans and killed the center bushing in the p1 planet to the point a new bushing is like a hot dog down a hall way.

Will a 5 speed p1 work with a 6 speed billet p2 and c2? Or will the gear mesh not be right? I ask as we have a few core trans 5 speeds i can tear down for the parts.

They won't mesh, the only thing that carries over is the sungear at the end of the input drum.

I've got a core 6spd geartrain here, text me and I'll get that planet headed your way.

Like Brad said, won't go together except the p1 sun gear, 6 speed ("Gen 4") changed to a high helix gear. I'd just toss the whole 5spd gear set in it or take Brad up on his offer
