Thinking of lowering the truck a little and putting 275/70/16s on it. They are rated for 2601lbs, but considering I don't tow or haul anything any more I think I should be fine. Anyone else run this size tire?

Should be fine i see a lot of people on here running them on the stock rims just wouldn't tow very heavy for a long distance and make sure to air them up all the way when you do tow

I plan on running a set

Thats the size Toyo's I just put on the PYOs for this year's racing. 1/2" shorter than 265/75's, 1/2" wider.

I got a set and will be putting them on tomorrow. They are only rated for 2600 lbs but I don't tow any more and my truck is right around 6000lbs. Had my buddy get them and they were only $73.10 each so how could I not try them:p

I don't have my weigh ticket in front of me, but my '07 is about 4100 on the front end and 3200 on the rear, so you should be safe running with that weight rating...

I ran Ds befor and these are even lighter duty. I'm sure they will work, I'm just worried that they won't last long because of the paper thin sidewall. But for $300 its worth a try. Actually they were free, parents got them for a b-day present:cool:

Should have a few pics later today. I'm getting ready to leave and go mount them. Maybe next week I'll cut the jounce bumpers, drop the t-bars some more and weld 3" on the shackles:D
