When I had taken the line off late last week, no, the line was dry.

Sounds like something is obstructing flow through the pump. If you have fuel at the filter then it is inside the pump. Fass is a flow through design. I’ve had a fuse pop on me and I was still able to drive the truck without the lift pump running.

Or like mentioned before it could need to be primed. Make sure you have a gasket on the suction filter. Follow the instructions for priming. Take off the hose to see if you have any discharge at the pump

Yeah, I'm putting the tank back up tomorrow. So once I have everything installed again, I'll walk through the typical priming sequence and see what happens.
