I need to know if ANY vehicles exist with the newer style gauges and this transmission controller (t14 used from 2011-15). Only a few trucks Ive seen with this cluster have a smaller new style trans controller (smooth case). I think MAYBE the early 2015s could have the controler pictured but from a custom build problem I am running into, Im begainning to think that these two pieces never existed in the same truck :(

2015 MY trucks built before 8/14 had the A50/T14 TCM as pictured. 2015 MY built after 8/14 had the smooth case T87.

The cluster you pictured must be out of a Chevy, because the pre-8/14 GMC clusters had red accent lighting, and this shows as green.

ok I dont mean the exact same cluster but you have a truck with a cluster (very similar) as shown and the trans controller as shown? I really didnt believe such a truck exists. So if you where to buy parts via the VIN, you would get the T14 trans controller as pictured and a cluster thats shpped the same as pictured (swappable)?

Let me explain where Im at. Doing a Duramax/Allison (2013 doner truck) into a 2015 Yukon. It's in the vehicle and wired but the theft deterrent is tripped and will not allow starting. I had a computer guy come and reset the theft but after the reset and key cycle it would pop back on. My current thinking was that my transmission controller was an older module that was not used the same time the 2015 vehicles were changed to the new style cluster (not compatible with each other). My current thinking was the older trans controller wasn't compatible with the new cluster and newer GM way of doing things and I would have to change to the newer controller but that's a can of works in also changing the wiring harness and things with the transmission.

Heading this way: The guy who came to reset the theft and can also flash modules believed the main theft check off modules needs to be programed with the same vin (no known way to delete the 2015+ theft. The only way around is to B.S. it) but if the two mentioned modules didnt exist together then there would be no VIN available to B.S. it and Ive been unable in person to come across a vehicle that has both.

Picture of my gauges. Early 15, and have the A50/T14.

Did you code the cluster to the ECM/BCM?

I got no idea on exactly what he did. He is at some point going to come back and I can double check that. That is the exact cluster thats factory in the Yukon. I picked that other up becasue I was going to swap them. Thats wild that the older type trans controller exists with the newer style cluster.. I hadn't found one in person and was beginning to believe that was my brick wall.. guess not..

Hey M.A.M, is the fuel pressure gauge in the picture post lift pump and before the high pressure? Matches nicely! Airdog or fast?
