So a little update on this, bought a used 2016 valve body with original harness off fleabay, had a small dent in the TCC control solenoid and the fluid looked like shit, did a little flush that could on it, slapped it in and took the truck up the road, ran fine, towed it to another dealer to be safe, had all the PUN's programmed into the TCM and an update, shifts really smooth, still has that hiss in second when the converter locks, but overall better than the old one.
The dealership it was at for a month refused to install the valve body so another 200 in towing to the house, then another 220 to the next dealership, I'm 1,200 in parts, (shit I'm not using and used stuff) and almost 1,000 in towing and 1,300 in rentals, so long story short to that is if plan your business on a what seems like a quick straight forward job like this, between working out of town and useless dealerships I could have just built this damn thing and been done.
Sending my other valve body to Big Dipper for an inspection and I'm ordering a new S8 solenoid since the dealer said that's what was bad, and I'll hold onto it for when this one shits out and I do a full build.
