I have 2001 4x4 2500 suburban. I got an entire 06 duramax 2x4 doner for $500. I'm willing to swap entire 06 harness gauges over to the suburban. Im not worried about rear A/C. But the 4x4 thing is my issue. Will the x case on the suburban work with the allison after I get it set up for 4x4 then getting the 4x4 to work is my next concern. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I'm new to Duramax and Allison.

The TC from suburban won't work? My plan is to swap entire 06 electric system into suburban.
When you say "TC" do you mean transmission controller or transfer case? If transfer case then I can get an 263xhd but what will I need to get it and the front diff to work? Is there a separate harness for the 4x4 part that is plug and play?
