I have a 10K Atlas to for home, it's done really good and has been used a lot for side jobs here/there. I have a 15 chev 3500 with a service box and it picks it up fine that trucks 9900 lbs.

Most lifts require 4-6 inches of concrete with reinforcement (rebar or wire mesh) and a psi of 3000. Whatever lift ur looki g to buy it should be in the manual or instillation guide
The problem is most guys don't know until its too late and they didn't pour their garage floor thick enough.

I have been using a BendPak 10k 2 post symmetrical lift for the last 9 years. Love it.

If I had it to do over, I would get the asymmetrical 2 post 10K just to make it easier to get in and out of the cab when the truck is on the lift.... It's easier than losing weight!:roflmao::roflmao:

This is what it looked like when the shop was brand new: https://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/album.php?albumid=276&pictureid=2163

It's a little different now.

That’s easily fixed. Just take out a little concrete and make some piers for the lift to sit on.

Yea we had a crack in the concrete and thought the first lift (cheap lift ended up selling) would be fine bc it was a bit aways from it but we ended up
Pulling up some of the concrete when torquing down the anchors. Ended up cuting out the section of concrete the lift would be placed on and poured 12” down with some extra rebar

I have a 10k pound Challenger 2 post, it has picked up everything I’ve ever wanted except a couple farm trucks with heavy bale beds. Looking to at 14k pound 4 post for mainly exhaust work and pulling transmissions

Bumping this back up. Where is everyone buying their atlas lifts from? Going to be building my garage here soon (34x40x12) and need to figure out what lift I’m going with.

Buddies and my FIL got their Atlas from Greg Smith in Indy. I recently picked up a Forward 10k from Phil Leak in Norwalk, OH. We will see how it works out, but being ALI certified was one reason I went this route in the new shop.

I was looking at Greg’s website. I’ll give him a call.
