Allison 6sp: 1st time towing w/ Mike L. trans cooler

I towed our racecar trailer (10,000 lbs.) home from Bakersfield yesterday with my '07 for the 1st time...Went 65 MPH up the Grapevine, 2600-2700 RPMS in 4th gear...Air temp was 60*, trans temp was 150* at the bottom of the hill, 170* at the top of Tejon Pass, and 150* again after going downhill for awhile...

I'd say only a 20* increase was pretty good considering the length of that grade and that I was running a decent sized tune...

Should have more results in May while heading to Vegas...

i have had mine for 6-8 mounths now and it is money well spent my trans will never get above 200 unless i'm hot lapping it but even at that it has never went above 205 or so keep up the good work mike

X2 on Mike's cooler. Definitely worth the investment.

My truck was in a collisionn (popped my tranny cooler) and I made sure they put another Mike L cooler on as I saw the before and after results of his cooler. My truck would not have gone back together without one.
