'19 remote start question

Just picked up a used 2019 silverado with the key and a fob with the remote start option. Wanted to find out, after i drive somewhere, is there a way that i can do something to leave the truck running but remove the key from the ignition?

Press the lock button on key fob then hold down the remote start button.

Otherwise, if you want to keep the engine running continuously even if you remove the key will require an aftermarket kit.

Just separate the key fob from the key. Take the fob with you when you leave the truck, and lock it.
