15.5+ fan shrouds.

Is there a trick to these new style fan shrouds? Seems silly they would go away from the old split style shrouds.

I got it out fine but just seemed like I’m working against the grain and maybe it was designed for better removal and I’m just not seeing it, but stinks you gotta pull everything out just to get the fan out unlike the older models.

Also thought I’ve seen guys lift the cabs with the shroud still Hanging on. Idk I’m just used to the older models.

I hope whoever designed the LML and everything under the hood around it got fired. It's the biggest PITA of any duramax ever.

I agree 1000%. Man I've nearly designed a new language while trying to re install the fan and shroud.
I am only able to leave the thin primary piece of the shroud on the rad when picking cabs.
