Whatever happened to him? A few years ago he was in a bad accident and recovery was going to be long and slow. Any updates?

Not sure what ever happened to him, bought my first set of twins off him while he was up here workin years ago, super nice guy!
I was wondering what happened to him also. I saw his username on CompD's birthday list recently.
It was his Mom that was giving updates over at the Place. I havent read anything about it in a long time.
