    I don't think it will allow you to change your vin as efi locks itself to that vin, I would try changing your is to an 03-04 and go from there. If you do get codes you can usually just shut them off if they're nothing that effects how it runs. How that helps

    Well I think mine was confirmed its a headgasket this morning when it hydro locked :( What do you think the odds are I bent a rod when it did that?? Could I pull the glow plugs and crank it to flush the motor?

    Alright guys my truck just started blowing white smoke on start up lately. I have checked all of my balance rates and they are all within 2.0, I dont seem to be losing coolant, my oil doesnt smell like diesel or milky like it has coolant in it. I'm not sure what else there is to check to figure...

    Ya I tried probably 10 times, even tried a GM flash tool, had a battery charger on the truck every time too but just couldnt get it to take for some reason. Would go through the entire hour long flash and then at the very end say flash failed

    Its possible..They just said it was out of an 04, didn't specify 04.5 or anything. It is shifting normal and everything just has a CEL. What do you think I should try next?

    Ok so I grabbed another tcm and threw it in and it seems to be ok but Im getting a ton of codes a couple p2810 a couple p0700 and a bunch of wheel speed sensor codes, so now what?

    So last night I went to do a full reflash on my PCM back to stock os so I could try a tuner, well my dumba#@ wasn't paying attention that I had a TCM file up and it started flashing the TCM... I was worried about unplugging it real quick so I just let it go, well now I'm stuck in limp mode...

    Nice! good to hear, I was a lil paranoid about this haha so did you guys just spray your mirrors and stuff or sand the texture off?
