    LBZ vs LML

Seen this was a little old but didnt see where anyone ever answered you. It wont matter to the pump what injector size your run, my 45's are maxing out the stock pump at around 2100us. I dont know the exact numbers but the difference is... (for example) the 60's may be maxing out the stock pump...

    06 LBZ smoke output issue

I'm assuming the new injectors are supposed to be oem size since you said a stock tune should work on it.

Break-in method for just new rings

I don't know as much as a lot of these guys here, but I done a whole lot of reading before I broke mine in. I came to pretty much the same thing DAVe3283 said. But if I had to choose between babying it or driving it like I stole it, I'd drive it like I stole it. Too many stories of people having...

If you were to build a 2023 lbz

I have around 25,000 on my blue top and could not be happier. Zero complaints

    Lbz Engine build

I would let dirty hooker/all-season diesel put it together if it were mine, they are in Harbor Beach Michigan and one of the best in the business imo, and they are very fair. You didn't ask for opinions on your build list but have you seen callies newish budget rods? They will easily hold what...

    SDP Transmission

Sounds like we are in the same boat then haha, I don't think I ever drove the truck that the skinny pedal didn't get put to the floor at least once and usually more than once. Now that it makes a lot more power and I have gotten older, I take it a tiny bit easier on her..

    SDP Transmission

If it were me I would kick the can down the road, I ran tunes similar to what your wanting for 2-3 years on a stock trans beating the crap out of it. Sure it will go eventually but you may as well get the good out of it and it may last you 5 years, I highly doubt you will be as hard on it as I...

    Need Allison Builder!

I think we decided to do it ourselves. Brad can you shoot me a price on a kit with a 1078 converter?

    Need Allison Builder!

We aren't 100% sure the trans is toasted, need someone to diagnose it first. P0700 & P0733 codes and the truck won't hardly pull itself in reverse and limps pretty easily. Its LML with trans tuning and only has 70,000 miles. The 200hp tune has been ran a handful of times though and it is on 35's...

    Need Allison Builder!

I just talked to them, they closed their truck shop in 2021. They only manufacture and sell parts now.

    Need Allison Builder!

I'm looking for someone that knows their way around an Alison and can build it if necessary. A friends LML seems to be toasted. Im in western kentucky close to paducah. Right now the closest option seems to be Fleece in Brownsburg Indiana but was hoping for something closer if ya'll know anyone...

    Duramax shop Columbus, Ohio area

A buddy of mine got quoted $6,000 for parts and labor from two different shops the other day for mahle gaskets and re-using his arp studs. $5,000 sounds very reasonable to me.

    Forged or Cast pistons

Like Callies new rods, I've been eyeing those. Heck of a deal!

    Forged or Cast pistons

Yours is probably dialed in a little better than most lol. Honestly though anything over 500hp should be tuned in the seat in my opinion, so at that point I guess just go fingers.. if they really can be made to run that clean. I guess budget plays a small part too but...

    Forged or Cast pistons

From what I've seen I would rather the race cast on a work truck under 8-900hp in normal conditions.

    Forged or Cast pistons

I thought you had the mahle race cast and really liked those for street applications. You didn't break one did you?
