I'm looking for someone that knows their way around an Alison and can build it if necessary. A friends LML seems to be toasted. Im in western kentucky close to paducah. Right now the closest option seems to be Fleece in Brownsburg Indiana but was hoping for something closer if ya'll know anyone! Thanks

I know Fleece used to build them many moons ago but do they still build them? They were some of the early ones doing them.

I just talked to them, they closed their truck shop in 2021. They only manufacture and sell parts now.

what about having evan build one and send it to you?

The shipping to Boise (770 miles) from MikeL was $950 5 years ago. I'd hate to see what the freight charge is to KY plus the core freight going back to SoCal... o_O

I'd be happy to set you up with a built unit or a build kit. We carry our own, SDP, and Randy's for prebuilt units.
We aren't 100% sure the trans is toasted, need someone to diagnose it first. P0700 & P0733 codes and the truck won't hardly pull itself in reverse and limps pretty easily. Its LML with trans tuning and only has 70,000 miles. The 200hp tune has been ran a handful of times though and it is on 35's and a 6" lift so I figure it's toast.

P0733 is an incorrect 3rd gear ratio code. 3rd gear is achieved by applying C1 & C3. I wouldn't be surprised if the C3 were hurt, it's the most worked clutch in the transmission. I've seen the C1 get some damage but I would expect to see other issues in other gears as the C1 is applied in 1st through 4th gear.

It's possible the issue lies in a speed sensor but I doubt it with the symptoms you're having.

How far away are you?

Around Zanesville OH. I just looked and I'm about 7hrs from Paducah. I didn't realize how far west that was. Probably not feasible in your situation. Does Danville not do any work like transmissions at all now?
