    Possible the inside filter is restricted. After the fluid is warm it flows better.

    trans issues after engine work

    Every time you disconnect the battery or reflash the ECM, the trans has to relearn. Make sure the fuel filter is good, and drive it. It should get better.

    codes and problems

    Probably a broken/shorted wire from the trans to the TCM. follow the harness and inspect for damage. Pull the inner fender for better inspection-- if the harmess is OK at the trans.

    Possible the internal filter is partly restricted-.

    Deep pan or stock?

    I like the extra fluid in the deep pan. Does it run cooler-- maybe not, but it doen't hurt either. Some say it takes longer to cool down, so what difference does that make? Allison made it for a reason. :hug:

    Note--- The trans has to come out-- stand it on the bellhousing, to change the Allison rear housing-!! :thumb:

    Most likely you have missed a connector.

    Poor ground can cause strange problems. Might want to add another one for a test.

    Got some at Ace Hardware -- they have a great selection. Just take one and matchup there.

    Be sure you clean the cooler and the heat transfer lower line-! :thumb:

    Remove the pressure plug and start the motor-- should have good flow. Cheap and easy-!
