    02' LB7 Tow Pig Build

Is the cam supposed to be a good one? I have the same one if Brad's got the Wagler Stg1 except alt fire, mines a 2017-18 version if they have changed a little. My truck was down for 2-3 years so wasn't sure on a comparable since it had been to long. It ran pretty good with the stock valley twin...

    02' LB7 Tow Pig Build

Brad hurry up and get this thing going :) . I can't wait to hear how awesome the first tow report is, this ones got me excited about updating my old turd. I've been procrastinating about updating the valley charger on mine the last 4 years. Just been dealing with the o'l-lagasaurus-rex since all...

    Banks vs BD intercooler

I ordered one of the Northern performance ones two years ago for my LB7, packaging was shit and it showed up damaged. Looked like like a decent intercooler to, really wanted one but wasn't keeping damaged junk. Sent it back and couldn't get another due to being on back order, a buddy gave me a...

Lift pump and fuel filter delete

Replace or repair the filter head, seen way to many guys delete it and have to replace to injectors cp3/4 shortly after. If you use power service 911 stop! Some fuel system additives are hard on rubber parts. Also don't use junk aftermarket filters they usually are 90% the source of the air leak.

Looking for a picture and the difference of the LB7 and the later style pistons.

Forgot to mention my pistons are top coated to, not sure with what though. They were a satin silver color, Industrial did the coating. I am running LML squirters and oil pump to but so was my buddies truck since it was a LML. I left the factory LB7 oil cooler because I didn't want to put anymore...

Looking for a picture and the difference of the LB7 and the later style pistons.

Kind a sad to hear, my buddy's LML cracked a race cast at 60k. His truck pretty much never went anywhere without a trailer, had twins, and was with around 425-450hp. Even had big injectors for most of it's life until the fuel system shit. Nothing for additional oil cooling though. I've been...

    Converter death

Here are some pics of 1057 converter that decided it was done with the world. As far as I can tell the outer vains fatigued and broke then it was over from there. It really didn't have a tough life, about 20k behind my LB7 back in the day at around 500rwhp. Then 35-40k behind a twinned LML...

    LML Tcm

    Changing turbo setup

Brad Are all the guys running the small turbine 64.5 with a standard turbine housing? I was considering going that route but trying a gated housing along with it.

    Torque Converter Questions

Is this the converter noise you guys are talking about? Source: https://youtu.be/ljqhQntB_jM I've installed 6-7 of the R's and this was the first noisy one.

    Oil cooling

The LB7 cooler on my truck takes on average 20-30 degrees out of the oil temp, it actually does a really good job. I thought about the bigger OEM coolers but I just didn't want to put the extra load in the cooling system on my trucks already taxed cooling system. Been thinking about the cooler...

    Oil cooling

Here is some calculations for the OEM oil pumps based off gear sizes, diameter, tooth count. This is for both LB7-LMM and the LML oil pumps. Likely not perfectly accurate but should be pretty close. Oil pump gear teeth 33 Crank gear 59 = 1.787 ratio overdrive Engine rpm left/pump rpm right...

    Oil cooling

I will get the p/n and try to look it up, fluidyne provided it. I ordered everything through them so I could get the shrowd and pick the fittings/location. I wish I would have thought to tell them to lower the NPT fittings on the bottom so more oil could be drained though when I service it. I'm...

    Oil cooling

It might have done a bit better if I had it up front but no room and I didn't want to hack any holes in the bumper. Here's some pics of it.

    Oil cooling

I'm running a decent size one from fluidyne, its the db-30616 single pass with there custom fan and shrowd. It's mounted up under the truck by the tcase like a few other guys on here. I wouldn't run a dual pass check out the dp/rating vs the singles. I think you would have a hard time...

Fox 2.0 Performance Series Shocks - Inspection and How to Rebuild Them

My front appears to be valved the same as the one James has there. The pellet is a pos and is pressed in on the inside of the shock tube. The pitting on the shaft is circled so you can see it. I couldn't find the rear one, I may have tossed it but will keep looking. Sent from my SM-G981U using...
