    On alot of aftermarket head units you can just ground the wire that goes to the parking brake to the case and it'll work.     At this point I don't care. It's gone and I have a new head unit. I'm happier with that anyways. Took about half the time to install and it worked the first time. The hardest part was restraining myself from putting a bullet or two through that isimple once I ripped it back out.

    Yes both batteries were disconnected. I didn't want the truck to think I was stealing the radio. I have not done anything with the firmware. That's my next step if customer service doesn't get me an answer today. Everyone who installed this and everything was fine, did you do any updates?
