    Sorry for the late response I turned my idle down to 550 from the factory set 680 and it seems to be fine it don't get cold here and it don't smoke or really smell funny set at 550 and is real quite motor noise wise sometimes when I come up to a stop sign it's so quite I think the motor shut off

    Ok so I started truck and it drove fine last night woke started this morning and ran fine pulled out of drive way and it started kind jumping then it would clear up a lil bit but never cleared out shut truck off started it again and it was worse did not want to idle or move didn't even make it...

    if you do get a ford i would get a 7.3 or a new 6.7 6.0 and 6.4 are junk we have had both in are tow trucks and both have blown and left us on the side of the road

    as far a 2500 or 3500 in a way u can tow just about as much with a 2500 the leaf packs are the only deff besides two more wheels but you can get a set of wide rims and tires and get the same thing out of them and will handle just as good i pull a two car trailer loaded with no problem

    i would go with a lly or lbz i would stay away from lb7 they are good motor but they are known to injector problems now i would go with the lbz simplie because of the tranny it has a 6 speed vers 5 speed which is alot better and nice not saying any thing bad about a 5 speed cuz thats what i have...

    where are you from maybe able to point u in the right direction but i would stay away from box programmers and use efi live and a dpf delete u dont have to have cold air intake would just be nice but u will see ur most gain from efi and dpf and u will be a happy camper

    hey man this is a good looking truck i like ur setup and def a good choice on the lift from the looks of it your front cvs are straight and you still get all ur droop :thumb::thumb: Here's my truck...it's got a cognito 4" set at 4", the rear has 2" DEAVER mini packs with the overloads...
