I don’t know how critical is, but I would think at a minimum you would want it in the center of the bend not to the inside or the outside where the airflow is gonna be faster or slower. That’s right where HSP built the kits with if.- Dozerboy

I want to relocate my oil dipstick. Can you fish it out from around the engine mount without messing with the engine mount? LBZ TCM problem
I would look over the wiring first and make sure nothing looks damaged to the TCM. Maybe you can find a pin out and at least check power and ground in the TCM harness first. -
