IDK if I'm smart or stupid... bought something... '14 Cruze LT all star addition, with 1.4turbo/ 6sp manual. ~113k under body is fairly damn clean. Fuel cost savings at current rates between 87/diesel will more than pay for this 16mpg at 5.40 diesel vs 30mpg at 4.00 87 octane though 90 mile...- malibu795

I've had 2 stock ones fail.. one end tank crimps.. and this one which is leaking around the lower trans cooler fitting.. I'm worried if I tighten the cooler adapter fittings any further I'll strip the cooler bosses or crack the plastic end tank.- malibu795

Probably worded it wrong.. I have a NIB MK6 style HR cam and MK6 4.25" crank. I have 2 MK6 blocks that need machine work, also need rods and pistons for the said 4.25 crank That'll probably be winter project. I'm not sure what's going on with the radiator in the LMM trans cooler is leaking...- malibu795

My stroke BBC in my wagon has a howards HR cam in it, it's been nice. Downside is availability. Also have a comp cams HR MK6 cam that's extremely close to the howards. Unfortunately the square body has a MK4 block which is flat tappet.. Like to put this in, I'd need new push rods, retro...- malibu795

Well it runs, ECM for some reason wants to run idle at 1000, vs 700.. have to do some double checking ... the ECT doesn't track temp as well as the one in the coolant passage.. I'll move that later.. Been decent day, time to wrap up and go to bed lol Make the wires less ugly later🤣- malibu795

Don't have the cash right now... And If I learned anything, don't build/fix the same equipment that you're trying to make money with. Thats a project getting it ready. Needs full set of tires, truck and trailer Trailer needs new deck, air bags, shocks, EOH Pump, air system and tank fixed...- malibu795

While I'm sure they are out there, market usually correct them as everyone leaves.. I've never had a company push for the full clock. Regularly I have a friend that drives for ABF... The only reason he puts up with the BS there, he has a new family and the kid has some medical issues and ABF...- malibu795
