Stuck in regen low #5 EGT
Yup, lots of diag to figure that out. Not uncommon for the 9th injector to die. Egt sensors seems to last longer but those fuckers always sieze coming out -

Unpopular opinion but Imho, wendy was no longer wendy when it was bought. Color changes, turbo changed, and other changes. My TDI tuning adventure
You can only read and write. Hed probably have to buy the user defined parameters as well if he wanted to use vcm editor and get the bin file converted. Definitely more user friendly than efi live at this point though- Chevy1925

Allison 10L1000 10 speed valve body fixes
At this time, yes. Verify the check balls are not wearing out (they are plastic), thermostat moves freely and a spring free length check on the rest of the valves isnt a bad idea. If you can vac check ports, that be real beneficial too- Chevy1925

The high and low limit feed valve fix from sonnex still seems to be top dog imho. Got a guy with 50k on it since we did the fix (hot shot truck) with the ratiotek kit, 0 issues and says it shifts like stock- Chevy1925

Newbie needs some help
Unless you got a scanner that can get in there and see codes, control functions like a forced regen and have the time to learn, its going to be hard to do much -

You are correct on operator error Having the stock wheel back in mine from the batmowheel is definitely a better spooling setup. I should redo my times but summer is here. There is a stark difference in spool time from winter to summer lol. I need to adjust my gate more. Its blowing open too...- Chevy1925
