    Fuel Cooler

Mine seems to run between 130-140* just running around town and down the highway empty. Is that what everyone else runs or is it still too hot for daily driving? That's in 90-100* outside temps. Still in stock location. Haven't had time to move yet.

    Fuel Cooler

With your cooler mounted like this are you pulling or pushing with the fan? And do you have the lift pump and engine return both plumbed in to the cooler or just lift pump?

    Fuel Cooler

Yeah because my mileage has went to in this heat while towing.

    Fuel Cooler

Because I have been told by a couple of people that the hot fuel could be causing a couple of injectors to be returning too much fuel thus causing low fuel rail pressure.

    Fuel Cooler

Well.....that didn't work. Temps still got to 210* a couple times. Guess my next move is to move the cooler for better airflow. Even turned the truck back to stock to see if it would help. By that time the whole tank was probably so hot it was beyond cooling back off.(it's in the mid to high 90s...

    LBZ 73 Nova

I know what you mean about sprints being too expensive now. I pitted on a couple cars here in OK all thru the 90s...but I don't see how what you're doing now is any cheaper. Lol

    Fuel Cooler

So are you cooling the pressure or return side with yours?

    Fuel Cooler

My fan sits to the back side of the cooler and pulls through the it. Only thing is the only thermostat I could find is 180*, so by the time the fan comes on it is already hot. This cooler flows WAY Better than the factory so I was hoping that would be enough to fix my problem but I guess not.

    Fuel Cooler

Did you plumb yours going to the pump or to the return lines like the factory cooler? I put a Derale cooler with fan on last year in the factory spot, but I am still getting over 200* fuel temps while towing causing me to get a p0087.

    Wife's canyon issues

My truck had some wierd issues a few yrs ago...blinkers wouldn't work, a/c compressor would go off and no cruise control....turned out to be a bad connection on an ECM fuse under the hood. Might check that out.
