Looking for real world experience with s369sxe

I wonder how much of a difference a 64.5 or 66mm would help spool vs the 69 wheel.

Looking for real world experience with s369sxe

I'm considering trying an s369sxe. I've experienced turbos in the past that were lazy and it drove me nuts, yet many claim bw has made quite the stride in the newer sxe stuff. So, I have stock fuel, 1078 converter from evan, and I tow 15k on weekends. My 3794 I have tows awesome, I just have...

LBZ: Need Advice, New to Tuning

Not that this is what you are after, but keep in mind your desired torque table through pedal position can also alter shift points in a since. It's really easy, and of course zero chances of making a mistake with the tcm tables.

    All in truck or PPEI

Well for example the max vane table I've found to be very important, as well desired boost table etc.. hes just very good with dialing things in. .

Mark's stuff shit and gets! He knows how to tube the vgt side very well. Especially with larger ones. I have alot respect for Kory, he is a pioneer, but when it comes to tuning a Danville vgt....Mark is the only way to go. Super nice guy as well

FWIW, if you're trying to make it lockup when temps are cold, dont. It keeps the converter unlocked to help build fluid temp. Dont reinvent the wheel.

I'm not sure Gale will even push the thing.. guys are hitting 600+ho at the wheels currently. Gale will hit 570hp at the flywheel and call it a day lol.

you can use alot more timing in the cruising/mid-range. 7-8* @ 20mm3 isnt crazy at all. Dont worry so much about the percentages in these portions of the tune.

    LBZ DSP5 Tune, need opinions

Interesting, I had a bad experience early on in my tuning efforts and noticed I forgot to put things back to metric. Once I did my issues seemed to go away, but it could have been coincidence...or something else. :o

    LBZ DSP5 Tune, need opinions

Is it stock?! If so 1850us seems to be considered the safe-ish limit of fuel. 2400-2500us like your calling for will fry the allison QUICK.

    LBZ DSP5 Tune, need opinions

If you go to Edit>configure display units you can change the units for ease of adjusting boost. Looks like you know this and have your stuff in imperial yet. Change this back to Metric before you reload it back it. I see you changed pulse in the tunes, but didnt add boost where there was added...

    Lmm tuning help

So, 7-9* works good in the cruising range for mpg. There seems to be a fairly large window, timing wise, for mpg. I havent seen much difference from 6*-10*. So, I usually go to the low side. If I can run less timing and get the same mpg, thats more heat to the turbo if that makes sense. With...

LBZ: Need Advice, New to Tuning

Look at B2241 & B2240. If you look at B2231 you'll see the ecm will attempt to control boost by desired boost. SO, go to vane positioning ECT and use that to set what you want your vane positioning to be at idle when cold. You have vane position maximum cold set at 100, so you just simply need...

    Lmm tuning help

I suggest to not enter 125 on the bottom row, and smooth to zero. You will get very big details 60mm3+ when shifting. Well, with the base tunes I've tried, this seemed to happen. I want to say I have 125 in the bottom 3 rows, and didnt smooth a thing. But the big transition from 110mm3 to 125mm3...

    LMM: Fluctuation

If your mm3 is fluctuating, good chance rail pressure/pulse will also. Refer to torque based fuel.
