    Nope You will be fine you just have to run a relay to power it. It will draw more amps and don't like to open without the amperage.

    Old return line fitting and a hose. I crank it until I have fluid then stop. Dump it out and then crank and measure.

    Bore I also split a block that was half filled and std. bore. It cracked just above the block filler and went up from there. I had the block sleeved in all 8 cyl. at the point and fixed the problem.
