TQ Converter My LBZ tow truck was doing the same thing when towing heavy. Then it was doing it with just a 4k or so load on it. I put a Dacco billet single disc in it trying to be cheap. It worked great for two trips towing the hillbilly hauler with the rock buggy on it. Last weekend coming...

    LB7: Rod Upgrade Cost

    LB7: Rod Upgrade Cost

Motors I have pulled heads of a motor pulled a burnt piston and rod out covered the crank honed the cylinder put a new/used piston on the old rod put back together and truck on down the road! Confirm My Suspicions?

Fuel To drop pressure that fast you have a restriction. It not the regulator. If voltage is pulled it would spike high not low.

    Confirm My Suspicions?

Fuel pressure I would bet money its one of two things. You have a double gasket on the fuel filter (on the center with treads) or you have debris in the fuel sump. I just had a 2002 do the same exact thing. I have seen many filters with double gaskets over the years.

LMM: LMM with 222,000 tear down rebuild

Damn dude You really need to kill cylinders and find the bad one. I'm thinking one injector got dirt into it and is now hanging. It takes about 5 minutes with a scanner.
