    Duramax block strength

    Blocks I split cylinder walls at 1000 hp on my first motor in the white truck. I then hard blocked it had 8 sleeves put in and no more problems with that block. All the others have been good with a half fill on the blocks. All with stock caps and no girdle. I'm not a believer they help much...

    New injectors new build = Misfire#8

    Cyl 8 I'm thinking its a valve problem or lash. A plus number means that cyl is down on power and the computer is trying to make it up with fuel. If your sure the lash is good I'm think a valve not sealed or bent.

    Pistons I see more LML's with holes in the pistons than any other years. Between the pumps blowing up and pistons with holes I will stick with my LBZ.

    Not bad At first I thought it was high until I read the bill. With assembly and all its more than fair. I also agree most "Shops" are just bolt on and go. I would rather have a shop do that than act like they know what they are doing and mess it up.

    No IC Yep I'm different than most. I just wanted to win. lol Basic is simple and simple is basic! Like you said way less problems. Some guys just try to hard to reinvent the wheel. With your power turned back I bet you will be fine.

They put in a new mass air meter (that was the code) and told the gentleman they didn't know what was wrong with it. It had the most plugged up air filter known to man!!
