    I've got a friend that has one in a drag car that sprays N2O and runs 9's in a 3500lb car. All stock short block and it's been going for many years of abuse. Good bottom end in them, factory stroker engine. I like them.

    Deleted I believe, not showing any HP gain on my dyno with two different trucks running emissions. I like testing stuff when i have no "skin" in the game.

    Yes, all over 15k miles. What did your Dad's truck run in the 1/4mile? I've yet to see an AFE tuned L5P at the local track beat my heavy ass lifted truck ETs.

    The problem is the Cali emission equipment looks at the vehicle vin, not the engine vin. This is why a dsp tune will not work. I don't believe a stock tune for a LLY/LBZ engine will pass because the OS doesn't match the vehicle(LB7) vin. May have to have a LB7 OS matching your vin, modified...

    I think it'll help a bunch. I installed one on my El Camino and it made a huge difference. I never did get around to it on the race truck.

    What model engine/ecm will you be using Rick? I used a DSP2 setup on Max'd Out (LBZ), the dsp2 could be hooked to a trans brake and should work fine with some trial and error.

    I've tried that Albert and it doesn't seem to respond well to throwing my body around in the cab:D. Maybe Brian will have more luck, line it up straight for sure before you let go of the button.
