Heavy boat for the reg cab is about 12k. If it’s heavier than that I get the diesel. I thought cooling was based on horsepower? The 408 makes twice the hp and the same torque as the L5p so I was thinking they would have close to the same cooling demand. I would think the electric fans would be...- NC-smokinlmm

Why can’t you use the electric fan kits we use on LS builds? They are so quiet you almost can’t hear them run. My truck has zero problems staying cool and I tow heavy boats with it regularly in 95 degree temps. I think they help bc in traffic they still move some air.- NC-smokinlmm

Seriously?
I have to clean the filter on my supercharged truck regularly, it picks up trash off the road. I think anything with boost needs more regular filter cleanings or changes.- NC-smokinlmm

The neighbor behind me has one like the purple one. He used to stalk people around town in it. It is very quick.
