    I didn’t see where he said it was an Allison, I was thinking 6l80.

    There is a theory that if you go that long the fluid suspends the clutch material and helps keep the trans from slipping. If it was mine and it had gone that long it let it ride. I know of guys with 4l80’s with several hundred thousand miles that will never change it.

    I’ve got my 2010 1500 making more torque than you probably will and the stock axles are holding up after a Detroit truetrac swap in the rear. Burnouts daily on 22’s with 33” mud tires.

    I’ve put an lmm turbo on an LLY, I don’t think it required retune either. It ran great, the lly turbo is bigger but the lmm turbo responds faster. He only swapped bc he thought the turbo was bad.

    Have you tried any additives like Z Max or any other carbon treatment? I use the Z Max fuel and oil kit and I can tell a difference once I run it thru.
