    I think you misunserstood my question. Were the tubes manufactured with a raised bead all the way around the circumference, to help the T-bolt clamp hold the boot?

    I got it at Pep boys and Checker. It is more expensive so it is hit or miss. Oh, also, a few drops of red food coloring, and it looks just like dexcool.

    It is a "hybrid" Organic Acid Coolant, combining the best of Dexcool, and the cavitation resistance of some of the older coolants, without the wear-related high silicate levels. Plus it is not involved in any litigation. :)
