As much as I hate to admit since I like diesel racing so much, I agree. This is why I can't justify turning my truck into a full blown race truck.- dman777

I used to think the same until I saw how many people showed up to Ennis last month. I don't know the numbers but it seemed like it was the largest showing of trucks and fans I have ever seen at a NHRDA event. Hopefully this means it is getting more popular but idk. This is why I think a 467 with 360s or even a 366 in valley would be better for my needs. The truck is my hot rod but not a dedicated race truck and I would like to be able to tow stuff. 1000 hp would be cool but I wouldn't like the lag not to mention the cost of fixing broken components.- dman777

Anyone tested the difference in spool between a cast 72/83 .9 and the fleece s467? I've heard people like the fleece s467 but if it's not much difference in spool than I should go smaller like a 366 or vgt. I won't be towing all the time but I would like to have the option. I agree but my only concern is lag. If I don't like how laggy my 72/83 .9 is, I can't imagine it being any better adding two more good size turbos. But I still have a lot to learn. I'm not looking for 1000 hp. I would be happy with 800 if it spooled fast, low egts, and I could tow a good size...- dman777

Who should I get to build my tunes?
This reminds me, I out ran a smoky dodge yesterday in my Jetta TDI. He did the famous ricer fly by and at the next light sat there and puffed smoke on me. I just sat there smiling thinking "Smoke all you want buddy cause you just got beat by a Jetta.......a JETTA!" :roflmao: Sorry to derail. But... -
