wtf?? Uhhh no the reverse lights definitely work during the day with the headlights off........lol.
The reverse lights are controlled directly by the BCM. When you shift to reverse, the TCM sends a data message to the BCM to trigger the reverse lights.
You're thinking of the APPROACH...
The LBZ and LMM have slightly different CPU's (or cores, Im not sure...SOMETHING is different).
LBZ ECM is Bosch EDC16-C37
LMM ECM is Bosch EDC16-C42
You definitely cannot load/run an LMM OS into an LBZ ECM and vice versa....

Yup, good call on the EGT sensor inputs.
I did find this though: https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?24237-LBZ-ECM-amp-LMM-EGT-sensors&highlight=dave+EGT+LBZ
I emailed you a bunch of stuff that should be able to get you going on crank request via GMLAN. :thumb: :)

Great job with this!!
Sorry I sorta fell off the radar Ken....been totally SWAMPED with other (less exciting) projects and work. :( Its awesome to see what you've done so far with this.
I forget if we discussed this before...but is there any reason you chose to run an LMM OS and not an...
You can get the .bin files from TIS...
TIS caches the files as segments though, so you have to mess around a bit to combine them into something that EFILive will read/open.

Interesting, I never knew you could get an LT with power fold mirrors.
Its strange that the LT GMT-900 trucks have windows/locks wired "the old fashioned way" rather than smart door modules like on 03-07 and 07.5-14 LTZ trucks.
So I guess the trucks that were LT, with power fold mirrors...
Considering they already have all of the files sitting on their computer...all they have to do is spend 5 minutes going through their tune library and find one that matches the customer's VIN... I mean good for them for capitalizing on it though, pretty clever.
Right, I should have clarified...if the belt is buckled before the truck is started, there will be no chime when you start the truck.
So I guess you could disconnect the seatbelt switch, or jumper the wires or something...along with the key-in-ignition wire disconnected...that should disable...
Ive had D5064 set super low (17mph) forever and still could never get it to command TCC until sometime in 3rd gear. :(
Thats why its always annoyed me, because 5854 shifts awesomely in my truck, but doesnt have any of the advanced lockup stuff...the other OS's that have the lockup stuff shift...
Buying all of the connectors separately, wire, etc you're gonna be into it a lot more than $900 Ill tell ya that... Some of the connectors are impossible to find too, unless you buy 10,000 of them. The ECM connectors alone are close to $100 last I checked.
Not to mention crimping all of those...
thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!
Unfortunately I am so busy with work and standalone harnesses that I dont get on the forums as much as I used to...15 hour days of literally only me here doing everything from marketing to R&D to tech support to harnesses to sweeping the floor takes a...
As far as I heard, it is Denso fuel system, and a Continental controller.
The controller they are using is basically the "big brother" to the 2.8 Dmax controller and shares a fair amount of code with it too from what I understand.
