    Bought a Cruze

😂 Still on first tank, which has decent amount of idle time and mixed driving on it, dic says 32-33mpg, set one of the 2 trip selection to just running 73-75mph to work and it's claiming 35-36mpg.. @TheBac saw one cheap diy, for it, pull intake run a #10-3/4" self tap in to the PCV hole...

Think my 30A drier plug socket is falling.. got it on a 30A 2P breaker and 8ga wire feeding it. It's causing the breaker to get warm and trip.. Also 145° exhaust temp out the drier is kinda neat. Get it swapped to a 10-50R style plug/socket and be ready for laundry next weekend The basic...

    Bought a Cruze

Already down loaded the stock time and saved it... Either they fixed it and did a horrible job at flushing the system or it just happened and they put it in as a bandaid and dumped the car before it got worse Pretty sure they used this https://barsleaks.com/product/block-seal-1109/

    Bought a Cruze

Well break the vacuum seal or allow additional air in behind the throttle, it will change idle quality. I'll get it some what cleaned up, so we can figure out what color the fluid is

    Bought a Cruze

Well filled it up, put ~30 miles on it... got new rainx wipers on it, Found oil leak, and cooper sparkles by the expansion tank. 😕.. Crank case is under vacuum at idle. Enough that you pull the dipstick or oil fill cap while running and idle changes Also some grey RTV.. by the valve cover.. 3rd...

Tom, OSHA would say this needs anti-slip mats to stand on If a seasoned safety man can't articulate the actual hazards for said PPE requirement. I question the legitimacy of said safety requirements.. Im not interested in getting injured with unsafe safety requirements

April '26 Chat -- Play Ball!

Ahh end of the month safety meeting... Seams some floor production guys bitched about the 4 drivers not wearing safety glasses... Directly asked the safety man to articulate exact hazards that I'm at risk of walking through non production areas that legitimately warrant said safety measures...

    New toy

That definitely doesn't help the situation 😕 And you're welcome 😁😂 OH, BTW, there's 1-2 companies that make a 168T FW that will take the 12" ls7 diameter clutch vs the common 10.5/11" diameter clutch

    New toy

425-450hp out of either a LQ4/LQ9 or a L29/L21 isn't hard on either 35" 4.10 gears and .76 OD at ~70mph is ~2100rpm One needed a bigger cam to get said power out of a 6.0 then a 7.4. the 6.0 will make the power but further up the RPM band then the 454.. which can cause drivability/cruise...

    New toy

I'm more a 454 BBC person.. more then 96-00 HR MK6 blocks L29/L21.. swap intake for a dual plane manifold, small cam, upgrade valve train and your ~425/550 HP/tq with an extremely flat curve that's extremely hard to match with a LS based engine Also get the serpentine system as well.. though...
