    2006 LBZ CCLB DRW Revival

I've got the new Mahle here already as I know neither block will clean up well enough without boring. I do appreciate the offer tho! The wheels are too far in motion to put a stock engine back in it hahaha The boostline rods showed up yesterday (pics to come)...

    LB7 LML Allison 1000 conversion & swap

That's where I got mine from as well.

48re would be your best bet at that weight IMO that isn't going to set you back your first born child's college tuition.

    2006 LBZ CCLB DRW Revival

It's definitely odd. Usually when they're like this I don't see the wrist pin area of the piston surviving. This appears to have popped the top of the piston clean off.

Long story short it’s fuel only, everyone gets the same turbo, and I believe there are some chassis rules. Winner takes in 70k or so for first. I’m definitely missing some info but that’s the highlight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I also don't believe an Allison will win either. It'll be 48re/4R100/4L80e/TH400 that takes the W. They're simply quicker shifting, lighter, and more consistent.

Dante? I personally think he's got a pretty good shot at it. I think it'll take an L5P engine to "dethrone" the Cummins crowd. I'm a diehard Duramax fan but it's hard to argue with the HP/TQ per turbo size that the Cummins platform puts up.

    2006 LBZ CCLB DRW Revival

I have the LB7 pistons, rod/main bearings, damper, damper bolt, and flexplate already. The Boostline rods will be here Wednesday. I will be sending my pistons out to Dan's to be delipped tho. They're genuine Mahle OEM replacement LB7 pistons. While I like Isaac and believe he's selling a great...

    2006 LBZ CCLB DRW Revival

Some days I hate being a gearhead...................... I'd love to throw a stock motor back in this thing but we all know how trustworthy 06+ pistons are........... Then my brain says "well just put a budget rod in it, you know you'll end up putting compounds on it some...

    2006 LBZ CCLB DRW Revival

Well this project, like most, has stalled. I was working on getting the truck running after towing it to a friend's place to get it out of my way. After pulling the #1 glow plug (stem broke while removing the harness) we found it was bent. Pulled the brand new injector and found it covered in...

Mishimoto is the best performing you can get. It’s my go to cooler here at the shop. I always upgrade the clamps on them when we sell em because the hose clamps Mishimoto sends are crap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What trans cooler is on the truck now? Also, as stated above I would verify your fluid level and make sure it's not overfilled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll be a bit honest here, if simply rescaling the rail pressure sensor stumped PPEI they need to put the keyboard down and walk away. It's literally adjusting table B0203 and that's it. This isn't the first time I've heard reports of PPEI being unable to handle even simply things. Blake writes...

Bought, wrecked, rebuilding a 2009 LMM

It's nuts! That's why I am hanging onto my good set of low mile Timken from ~2016/2017 timeframe.

1/4 mile discussion and time slips post here!

100000% agree here! Derek's passes were impressive but to me Wyatt's achievements are more impressive. He's still running a cast block and a relatively "standard" build, nothing off the wall or unobtainium. It sucks to hear he had another failure. I wouldn't be surprised if the cylinder wall...

1/4 mile discussion and time slips post here!

Derek did post his slip but has since deleted the comment thread on Exergy’s post. Derek’s slip was from Bradenton International in FL. There’s many records that have never been backed up. While I agree it’s nice to see that happen I don’t think that’s ever going to be realistic. Sent from...

1/4 mile discussion and time slips post here!

Looks like Derek Rose went 7.394 on his 4.819 1/8mi pass and claims they went 7.01 @ 155mph on the brakes during testing. I think it's safe to say that's a 1/4mi 4x4 Duramax record and a 4x4 1/4mi streetable record!
