LBZ: Kate: From stock to now, and spring break

Well, Kate's pretty much where I want her to be. I need to do some minor stuff like undercoating and paint touch up, and exhaust. She's no where near the biggest, baddest, or newest out there, but as a college student who paid for it all, I'm pretty damn happy with her. Started off as a stock...

Sorry for the late response! They're all LED concepts!

    Finally lifted!

Thank you! I ran the widest tire I could with a 35. Can't remember size off the top of my head. I was told I could squeeze 37's under, but the rubbing is already so bad with these 35's, I'm glad I didn't.

    Finally lifted!

Sorry for the late response, haven't been on the forum in awhile. I'm running cooper discovers, 35's. I'm really happy with them. They grab everything, and are easy to keep clean.

    Fluid leak, possibly power steering?

Truck is an '06 LBZ. Buddy's truck broke down yesterday so I towed him into a shop, and when I got back to my place afterwards I noticed oil drops on the concrete. Looked under and saw this. Power steering fluid dip stick was dry. I'm not very well versed in power steering, but what would...

    No heated seats?

Recently my entire drivers side door controls stopped working on my '06 Duramax. I replaced the controls harness and it fixed everything: Windows, Mirrors, locks.. But still no heated seats. Any idea why?

    Finally lifted!

Same here. Kept trying to talk myself out of it, but never lost the urge. Finally decided everyone deserves to be lifted at least once lol. Good luck on the build, and thanks for your service [emoji106][emoji631]

    Finally lifted!

Loving it! Rides no different than it did stock, very minimal play in steering, and quality seemed great. Only gripe is, and it's my doing, the wide offset rubs when turning hard rights.

    Finally lifted!

Well, I finally stopped trying to talk myself out of it, and went with a 6" zone lift and 35's. No one warned me my vehicle would never be clean again due to the offset [emoji48][emoji23]

    Lift Kits for Dummies

Would you mind reporting back on quality and ease of install? How hard are lift kits to do yourself? I've got access to a garage with a lift and all the tools I think I'd need including welding machines and cutters.

    Lift Kits for Dummies

I think I've decided on a Zone 6" lift. I've read they're like a sister company to BDS, and have yet to read any bad reviews! As to tires, 35/12.5/20 With 20x12-44 wheels. Thoughts?

    Lift Kits for Dummies

I've done all I can to talk myself out of lifting my truck, but it's killing me not being lifted. The look is just too appealing. That being said, I know next to nothing about lifts, and I'm a college student on a budget. I've currently only got a leveling kit on her. The truck in question is...

    15" sub and amp?

I'd really like to throw a 15" sub in to compliment the two 10's I have behind the back seat. I'm not looking for top of the line by any means, but it must still be good quality sound. Any suggestions on brands, and amps?

HELP, transfer case, 4 wheel low clunk

A local garage. I'm going to call them Monday, but I know on some things they have a policy where if you supplied your own parts they won't warranty the work, so I'm dreading this phone call.
