Switchable mufflers
Can you use a valve to bypass or reroute the exhaust around the muffler and out the same pipe? Would just need a valve and a few fittings- 2004LB7

02 LB7 Crank no start
How positive are you on your numbers here? You have nearly a 30% difference between the highest and lowest. Did you do the compression test with the battery on a charger and let the battery top up between cylinders? Was the engine cold or hot during the test? -

Original style LB7 injectors are known to fail just by looking at them funny. If you intend on keeping this truck for any length of time, maybe invest in the SAC injectors. As for replacing them all, it's a good idea. But not necessary if you're on a tight budget. It's a risk you'll have to... -

Is there any time where you want it loud? That seems like a lot to pay for a muffler unless you really want to be able to quickly switch from "quiet" to loud I would think quiet would be the preferred all the time. Last night we had a thunderstorm come through our area. Was pretty intense, especially for our area that rarely gets anything like this. Car finally went as far as light will go in one second 😁 Car is an 2006. That's 20 years to travel the distance light can go in one second. In other words, light is over 630 million times faster then my car 😆- 2004LB7

LB7 LML Allison 1000 conversion & swap ext.
That's going to be quite a tast What year LB7? Any chance of just fixing the 2015? There is quite a bit of difference between an LB7 and LML. Injectors being one of them. The LB7'S FICM can't drive them. You'll need to use the LML ECM. Then the transmission. You'll need the 2015 TCM. You...- 2004LB7

That was my thought too. That's why I asked if he lubed it. If it stuck to the pinion shaft, it would turn the whole seal and tear out somewhere.- 2004LB7
