Truck randomly loses power
Ever thought maybe bad batch of fuel? Very well could be a wiring/fpr issue but kinda weird it never had an issue until you got fuel. Maybe new fuel filters and a good additive. Worth a shot -
Duramax pioneer thread
I would have to say Dodge junk was my pioneer. Owned a 2000 ram 2500, always had something wrong with it, then moved onto a 2003 ram 2500 and experienced the wonderful death wobble and that was it. Test drove a 04 duramax and been hooked ever since!!!- Dmax87

LBZ: Getting stock tune back
You may be able to contact the dealer with your vin to get the correct original os number then go over to dp forum and download the correct os off their tune library and flash your truck which will make it stock. Canned tuners are known as basically anything but efi live. Changes are endless... -

You're going to need efi in order to do so. You can find stock flash/original os in tune libraries but you must be certain to flash the correct os, if it is incorrect you will find various components may not work such as 4wd or a/c. -

No codes what so ever? Where are you getting your boost numbers from? Definetly log it and go from there. Hard to diagnose something that sounds like everything is in check. -

Best thing to do would be remove the pipe going into the intake of the engine, push off to the side and attempt to crank like already stated, it depends on how long it ran after the turbo blew. By removing the pipe you're eliminating the chance of oil making it from the inter cooler back into...- Dmax87

I'm guessing this is an lb7? The fuel lines can be a bear getting them to seal. Get yourself a crows foot and a torque wrench and torque the lines to 30ftlbs. If you still have a leak you could try and remove the line and soak it in CLR household cleaner and attempt to re-install and torque. If... -

LB7: lots of smoke and burning oil
Is the blow by puffing at all or is it a steady haze? Also turbo was mentioned before it is possible for the seals to be out of the turbo, 1 burning oil and 2 putting boost pressure into crankcase. -

At what rpm are these water pumps failing. I need to replace mine but I don't plan on crazy rpm with my engine. Called oreilly auto parts an they want $65 for a new pump I don't want to go cheap here. What's your thoughts- Dmax87

Do these cylinders look "normal" to you?
My guess on some pistons being wet and others not would indicate faulty injectors on that hole. -
Cylinder bore repair?
Yeah I don't think a hole of that size would be able to be sleeved. To sleeve the block they have to first bore it out, there's no way they could get a smooth cut at that hole. All it would do is make the hole larger. I could be wrong somebody out there is probably looking at it right now...- Dmax87
