    Im guessing they moved the crank sensor to the back of the engine...and maybe the oil pump too? Interesting. Edit: it looks like the upper oil pan doesnt drop down for the forward-most inch like the old ones do. Upper oil pan definitely looks way different.

    Im pretty sure thats because the typical "30 minute relearn" doesnt really work on GMT-900's from what ive found. Well, it works to relearn keys, but it doesnt work to learn the TDM (theft deterrent module) to the ECM or BCM. You need GM TIS2WEB access and a Tech 2/MDI to do the proper...

    GM is extremely consistent; they never really change things unless they HAVE to. Even the databus messages and structuring is mostly the same, as long as you're talking about the same "era". IE the GMLAN messages for tach, speedo, crank request, etc on a 2010 Camaro are the same as an 07.5+...

    The BCM has nothing to do with it. You need to reflash both the instrument cluster and the remote control door lock receiver. Its 100% possible. ive done it several times. But it requires an unorthodox/"creative" programming method of using the "wrong" VIN, and selecting some special options...

    No. The LML engine wiring harness, ECM, and all that will plug into an LMM fuse block and be compatible with the rest of the body/chassis/interior harnesses and electrical system.

    meh, Ill wait for the knock-offs to arrive, and pick one up for $150. :rofl: My Tech 2 is genuine, but my CANdi module and MDI are both knockoffs, and they work perfectly. My cheap knockoff CANdi module is going on 10 years old actually.
