    yep, for sure. Allows a decent bit of wheel spin without reducing engine torque, raises intervention thresholds and allows more adverse yaw before brake intervention......but is still there for minor corrections, and to save your ass if you really mess up.

    Did anyone notice that he kept it in drive/automatic the whole time? I dont think I saw him use the paddle shifters once. Also, I noticed he left stability control on the whole time. Killing it on the Nurburgring with the trans in auto and ESC on...pretty amazing how far automotive...

    Yup....wild. I met him and hung out with him at one of merchants spring fling events. Seemed like a perfectly nice guy, I used to talk to him quite a bit.

    15-16 actually there are some key differences... wireless charging apple carplay faster/updated HMI-nav unit processor digital steering assist/smart steering box.

    Denso HP3 and HP4 are basically the same pump, just the HP4 has 1.5x more fuel capability.

    I really dont understand why everyone automatically associates the angled cap as "a cummins rod" trademark thing. Has no one ever seen the insides of other engines? You do realize thousands of other different types of engines use an angled cap? :) ;) 6.0/6.4/6.7 Powerstrokes have angled caps...

    The #8 rod would have to be located somewhere along the red line. Theres plenty of space where the blue plane is to fit an oil pump drive gear. On next to the bottom blue line, theres something hanging down in the oil pan that is NOT a 2001-2016 style oil pickup tube.

    Heres the only other pic I could find. Im almost positive the oil pump is at the rear now. Theres no more oil pump relief valve on the front cover. To me it looks like the front cover juts out further at the harmonic balancer. And it looks like theres only one gear on the crank snout...

    It almost looks like the cylinders are shifted forward 1/2" compared to a cutaway of a 2001-2016 duramax. How else would they fit the reluctor wheel? On a 2001-2016, the rear crank throw is RIGHT up against the rear-most main bearing journal....there wouldnt be any room for something between there.

    Could the cam be driven off the rear of the engine!? Im trying to zoom way in on the picture and brighten it up.
