    FASS makes a DPF for the EGR system. I know, just what you want to add is more emissions equipment, but it actually makes a little sense. If you have to have the EGR, why not filter out the soot? What I'm not sure about is how you clean it since it doesn't have the capability to do a regen.

    I think it would be like trying to run an LMM that used an E35B ECM using an LBZ E35A ECM. Similar architecture and identical from the outside but not cross compatible. If it were possible, I'm sure someone would have already done it.

    If it won't build pressure at idle, that's almost always a sign of a bad CP3 in my experience.

    I agree. The proportions of the short bed on that body style always looked a little odd to me. The longer bed is much nicer visually.

    Have you considered pulling the oil pans to see if the bearing surfaces will allow you to just roll in some new main bearings and rod bearings without actually doing a full refresh?
