Nothing major project wise really. But I’m sure something will pop up. Always does.

Finished up my truck project. That took just under 8 weeks……..lol

Been doing small things all year already. Whipping the yard into shape was high on the list this year since most of the big house work projects are done. We have been here for 4 years now.

One big project I do have is adding some drainage in. I found an old field tile this weekend. Been dealing with this for a while as well.

We were talking new driveway this year, but after three quotes well over $30k, it may not happen. I just have to bite the bullet, so-to-speak.
Wife still wants an addition built, but she and I can never agree on size or design.

I did some crawlspace spelunking yesterday. Had to reroute the outside faucet, get it away from the deck.
On the plus side, I learned about pex. Wish that had been around 30 years ago when I redid the house.
Additional plus, no leaks!
Downside....I'm getting too old and out of shape to do projects that require getting into small places like that.

Got a quote for new gutters on my shop that I rent, which is ~60*80*14 ~2200
Got a price quote for a 40*60*16 insulated (r-19 roof/sides) pole barn. ~60k.. still need to find land to put it on.

Looking at new kitchen and shore power in my 99 KZ 5th wheel, new sink, gas stove top, swap from 30A service to 50A service which means figuring out how to run at least 8/4 if not 6/4 power wire through the floor

Every month, you West Coast guys give me crap. Don't you ever sleep out there?

So, we talked about vacations last month. What kind of house projects have you all got lined up for 2026?
We wait for you to fall asleep then we start the Shenanigans!!! 🥳

I think I am going send that FICM out today and see if it can be repaired.

Concrete. 20ft elevated up to garage with side wall, then 10 ft flat next to it to shop. 90ft road to garage.
Would be nice, especially if the grands will be riding bikes and stuff on it. Price might sound high but there's tons of labor and concrete is over $200/yd around here.

Another option would be to find someone to lay down asphalt millings and pack them in with a vibratory roller

I got a price on putting a sidewalk in. 63’ long and 3’ wide. Won’t be doing it this year. 😂
