    Rare Parts tie rod failure

    Ball socket on that failed tie rod looked rusty, sure you were greasing it once and a while? I've got the boots tore almost completely off this 15' Hot shot GMC and the outers are still tight, inners are shot though with the torsion bars maxed out.

    I just burnt off the 2nd set of tires since the beginning of October on the 216,000 mile, 10,634 hour company turd, 4 rig mats on a gooseneck, keep buying those 10 dollar car tires.

    Nevermind, the headlights worked fine, did a def function test and forced regen and it's back to pulling a gooseneck, resistor should be in tomorrow and they're ordering a whole tank before winter.

    Ok, so I cut the plug off the DEF heater and spiced in, ran wires up to the engine bay and spliced in two 55w headlights, and they come on but mechanic says he don't think it's working, guess he's having trouble getting code to clear, any ideas?

    Ok, I read one thread where a guy used two 194 marker lights in parallel, so I'm assuming wattage won't matter with a bulb, just resistance?

    2015 LML, 185k 9,100 hours, company truck just had back NOx sensor changed now I'm in limp mode again with the Tank heater, quickest I can get a 100w 2.2 ohm resistor is Tuesday and I've got two on the way.     PCV reroute on stock LML

    I rerouted the PCV valve on this 2015, will it make it regen more over time when the sensor sees no pressure? Seems like truck regens more to me

    I'm gonna figure out the noise first, my guess is converter issue since it only makes the noise when it locks, window has to be down to hear it, if it's going, I'll slap one in it, can't do cam and stuff right now, oilfield money days are gone for a while, gotta save til things need fixing for now

    That's the problem around here, not very msny good shops or dealerships close, I'll see if I can do a vin check and see how long the warrant is good and ask around for a good shop
